Police say a shooter wounded two boys and one girl outside an alternative high school in what may be a gang-related attack in Portland, Oregon.

Sgt. Pete Simpson said Friday that the victims are believed to be students at Rosemary Anderson High School, which serves about 190 at-risk students.

He says the shooting happened at a corner outside the school, and the assailant fled. It was reported shortly after noon.

Simpson says the students ran back to the school for help, and they were conscious when they were taken to the hospital.

He says officers don't know whether the shooter was alone or with others, but he says preliminary information suggests it's gang-related.
