At around 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, a Missoula Police Department officer made contact with a male at a Mountain Line bus stop in the 200 block of West Pine street. Sergeant Jim Klawitter explains.

“An officer recognized someone sitting at a bus station that had warrants for his arrest for some previous misdemeanor offenses,” Klawitter said. “The officer arrested him. During the search after he was arrested, they found a small amount of marijuana and heroin in his possession.”

The male was identified as 50-year-old Todd Henderson. According to court documents, a routine inventory search at the jail located a small plastic baggie inside a box of cigarettes.  Within the baggie was a candy wrapper holding a small amount of a dark substance, which later tested positive for heroin. Henderson is being charged with felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
