The accolades for the accomplishments of Montana Grizzly football this past Saturday keep rolling in.

Earlier Monday it was announced that Griz quarterback Dalton Sneed was named Big Sky conference offensive player of the week for the second week in a row. On Sunday, Dalton was also recognized as the College Football Performance Awards Co-FCS Natiional Performer of the week, shared with Princeton quarterback Kevin Davidson.

Now comes word that Griz kicker/punter Adam Wilson has been named the STATS FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week. AND the Griz have been named the STATS FCS Team of the Week.

Wilson played a key role in Montana stifling then-number four-ranked UC Davis in the 45-20 thumping on Saturday. Adam's punts pinned the Aggies inside their own 10 yard line three times. By virtue of their dominance on the road against such a highly ranked team, Montana won the Team of the Week honor and made almost a double-digit leap into the Top 10 in the national FCS rankings, number 8 or 9 depending on which poll you go by.

Of course we will go by the #8 poll and congratulate our team in what they've accomplished so far this season.
