With the overnight rain, the Orchard Homes area is already experiencing flooding from the Clark Fork River, according to the National Weather Service.
Missoula County issued a disaster proclamation on Tuesday, to free up resources to help residents in the path of flooding from the Clark Fork River.
Governor Steve Bullock said on Tuesday that the State of Montana will enter Phase Two of the coronavirus recovery starting June 1.
More rain expected throughout the day in western Montana, with highs in the mid 60's.
