The National Weather Service said that air quality in Missoula and Frenchtown is rated as Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups after smoke from California wildfires became trapped in the valley.

The University of Montana has hired it's third Vice President in charge of Enrollment in the last four years with the addition of Mary Kreta from the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
