Montana Adds 1,247 New COVID-19 Cases, 28 More Deaths
As of Monday morning, Montana has confirmed 147,287 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 1,247 new confirmed cases. There are currently 11,007 active cases in the state.
According to the Montana Department of Health and Human Services, 994,979 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 485,319 Montanans are fully immunized.
In Missoula, 137,373 doses have been administered and 67,884 people are fully immunized. 65% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which remains the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.
According to state statistics, 134,307 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 415 people are currently hospitalized.
The number of tests increased by 12,605 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 1,797,580.
The state COVID-19 related death toll increased from 1,945 on Friday to 1,973 on Monday, according to state health officials.
