Missoula Transient Wrestles With Hospital Security, Arrested For Assault
At around 6 on Saturday morning, Missoula Police were called to the report of a disturbance outside the hospital in the 500 block of West Broadway. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh explains.
“The reporting party had advised that a male had just been released from the hospital and was refusing to leave the property and was in a physical confrontation with hospital security,” Welsh said. “He was identified as 37-year-old Justus Miller, a local transient. The first officer on the scene located Miller at the intersection of Orange and Spruce Street. He was placed under arrest for assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass to property.”
After further investigation, Welsh says Miller got into a wrestling match with hospital security after they escorted him out of the building. About a month ago, Miller was charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief for spray painting ‘white power’ and swastikas on a local building.
