Missoula SWAT Team Searches Home Following Community Concerns
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On October 1, 2026, at around 5:12 PM, the Missoula Police Department provided a statement about a potential drug house. Police Public Information Officer Whitney Bennett had the details.
“In the early morning hours of September 30, 2026, the Missoula Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1800 block of Mount Avenue as part of an ongoing investigation,” Bennett said. “The department had received multiple reports and concerns regarding possible drug activity, other criminal activity, and activity involving juveniles associated with the location.”
Missoula Police Department detectives, with assistance from the department’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team, served the search warrant as part of those investigative efforts.
“Multiple adults were located at the residence and interviewed during the investigation,” Bennett said. “The Missoula Police Department is aware of community concerns surrounding activity at this location and understands that residents may not always see the investigative work taking place behind the scenes.”
Bennett said information and reports provided by community members have been received, documented, and are being taken seriously.
“Because this remains an active and ongoing investigation, the department is limited in the information it can release at this time,” Bennett said. “We appreciate the community members who have come forward with information and concerns.”
