Missoula Police Investigate Weekend Rape

Missoula police are searching for a suspect who allegedly raped a 20 year-old woman early last Saturday morning .

Public Information Officer Travis Welsh said the case was assigned to a detective early Thursday morning.

Welsh said the woman reported to police that she had been sexually assaulted "while she was physically unable to give consent" while at a residence on Grant Street. She said the suspect was a known male acquaintance. He has not yet

been taken into custody.
