Missoula Police Chief Jaeson White issued a press release on Monday in response to the Derek Chauvin verdict last week in Minneapolis.

Rather than trying to tie Missoula, Montana into the problems in cities such as Minneapolis, Chief White addressed the efforts he and his staff have undertaken to improve the law enforcement effort in the city of Missoula.

Chief White also praised the formation of the Mobile Response Team that he said puts another valuable tool in the department’s ‘tool belt’.

Chief White closed by stating that the Missoula Police Department is ‘enthusiastically embracing the modern and future demands of law enforcement.
