At around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, Missoula Police Officers responded to a hotel in the 2900 block of Expo Parkway to remove a person who had previously been trespassed from there. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh explains.

“The officers learned that the clerk who called in the complaint was also aware that there was a female checked in to one of two rooms that was known to engage in drug activity and they wished for her to be removed also,” Welsh said. “The clerk specifically identified two rooms where there was lots of foot traffic coming and going and was concerned of ongoing drug activity.”

Welsh said the officer arrived at the hotel and attempted to make contact with the individuals inside those particular rooms.

“They did identify five people there, including one who had been previously trespassed,” Welsh said. “She was identified as 36-year-old Raven Lamere. Other people were identified, including 36-year-old Jessica Hurt, 46-year-old Jeremiah Jones, 33-year-old Whitney Lamere, and 45-year-old Donald Meyers. Those four individuals were cited for felony drug offenses, including possession of meth, heroin, and marijuana.”

According to Welsh, MPD officers arrested five other individuals for drug related offenses over the weekend, bringing the total number to nine. At least four of those nine individuals have been arrested for previous drug offenses and three were arrested for intent to distribute.
