Missoula Police Arrest Man For Outstanding Warrants, Jail Staff Finds Meth In His Possession
At around 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night, Missoula police were called to a residence in the 500 block of California Street. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh says a worried neighbor made the call after hearing some yelling from a nearby garage.
“The officers responded and made contact with a female who reported to them that there had been a disturbance between her and her boyfriend over their pending breakup,” said Welsh. “They contacted the male and identified him as 39-year-old Scott Glessner. They determined that Glessner had outstanding warrants for his arrest and he was taken into custody.”
According to Welsh, things got even worse for Glessner when he arrived at the Missoula County Jail.
“Glessner was transported to the Missoula County Jail where jail staff, following their protocol, conducted an inventory search of his property that he was carrying at the time and discovered what appeared to be drug items including methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia,” Welsh said.
Glessner is being charged with criminal contempt, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
