With a little over 2 minutes left in regulation, the Maulers were down 4-2 against the Gillette Wild and the fans were heading to the nearest exits... then it happened.. Missoula's Corey Schafer scored at the 17:45 mark in the third period and then with only 17 seconds left in the game, Jimmy Morris tied the match up at 4's to put into overtime. A little over 10 minutes into sudden death, Zach Paisley got the golden goal to give the Maulers the overtime victory and a 2-0 lead in a best of 7 series. The team will take off at 8AM tomorrow morning for the 600 mile trip to Gillette and get prepared for game #3 which will be played on Friday night.
