Missoula Crime Report: Car Crash With a 2-Year-Old Inside
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - The Missoula County Attorney’s Office filed nine new criminal complaints this week, which is five less than last week and much lower than the weekly average. According to County Attorney Kirsten Pabst, four of those involved crimes against persons.
“In one of those, we charged aggravated burglary,” Pabst said. “The defendant allegedly entered his ex-girlfriend's home. He was also charged with violating an order of protection and then later charged with escape for failing to halt when the police officers indicated he needed to do so.”
In addition, Pabst said her office charged two cases that fell under the sex category.
“We charged a sexual intercourse without consent as well as an indecent exposure for allegedly disrupting the flow of work at a medical facility,” Pabst said. “We charged one endangerment crime, a child endangerment. The defendant was involved in a very serious car crash and allegedly had a 2-year-old child in the back of the car.”

There was also a burglary crime and a drug crime this week.
“We charged one person with bail jumping and then a fugitive from justice out of Oregon who had charges there of robbery and assault,” Pabst said. “We're looking at today's roster as well. There were a couple more crimes against persons that were pushed from earlier in the week, and then two new in-custodies. One is a burglary, non-resident, and the other is another fugitive from justice.”
The Missoula County Attorney’s Office provides a weekly crime report every Friday morning at 9:00 on Talk Back. You can listen to Pabst’s full report below:
