Tomorrow, the Missoula county Office of Emergency Management will hold a disaster drill. According to Programs Coordinator Nick Holloway, this drill is all about the volunteers.

"We're holding a volunteer reception center exercise and that allows us to find a way to coordinate disaster volunteers that may stream into an area after a large scale disaster, Holloway said. "We'd love to have people volunteer to help out disaster relieve is hugely helpful but it needs to happen in a coordinated fashion."

Holloway says many volunteer organizations will be on hand to practice with how to coordinate volunteers after a tragedy.

"We have people participating from various local volunteer organizations that are active in disaster organizations such as red cross and Missoula aging services," Holloway said. "We've also got some individuals playing a role in it and I've got people coming in to play act in the role of spontaneous volunteers."

The drill will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. tomorrow afternoon at the Missoula County Fairgrounds.
