Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - During the late-night hours of February 15, 2025, Missoula Police Department Officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary in progress at a building on South Higgins Avenue. Dispatch was advised by the complainant that two individuals broke into the building and were observed from a security camera inside the building. The complainant advised the two individuals were wearing hoodies and gloves.

An officer arrived on scene and positioned his vehicle on the riverfront walking trail. He observed two individuals from the tree line walking along the fence line in a crouched position appearing to conceal their presence. The two individuals were wearing hooded sweatshirts.

As this was an active burglary call-out, the officer pointed his duty weapon at the individuals and gave them verbal commands to stop right where they were. The individuals appeared to speak to each other briefly and then refused the officer's commands by walking up the hill toward 4th Street.

The officer observed lights from another patrol vehicle flash on the top of the hill and gave another set of verbal commands to the individuals. This time, the two individuals yelled back that they were not going anywhere and raised their hands above their heads. The two suspects were taken into custody and were identified as 27-year-old Quintin Fogerty and 22-year-old Logan Fewins.

After clearing the building, the officer walked through it with the complainant. The complainant advised the suspects likely entered the building through the HVAC system. The complainant advised there was new damage in the HVAC room and fresh snow where the suspects landed on the ground. The complainant also showed the officer a large hole in the wall that he believed was new damage as well.
