Maulers Tie for Fourth Place in 2012 Junior Nationals

The Missoula Maulers tied for 4th place out of the top 12 teams in the country, but did not get the 1 wildcard available due to goal differential. Friday night, the Mauler were shell shocked by the Rochester Ice Hawks 7-1, but then rebounded on Saturday to defeat the New Jersey Rockets 5-4 in overtime and then finish strong on Sunday with a 3-1 over the Southern Oregon Spartans. The Maulers next game will be Friday, April 13 when they take on the Helena Bighorns in a best of 7 series for the AWHL Championship, Helena finished 1-2 in the tournament, while Billings went 3-1.
