KGVO News Team Wins Major Broadcasting Award

Peter Christian and the KGVO News Team won the state's best newscast award Saturday night at the Montana Broadcasters Convention's Greater Montana Foundation/E.B. Craney Awards ceremony at Big Sky. KGVO beat out an excellent entry from Great Falls to win the award. This is the 5th time that KGVO has won the Newscast of the Year, more than any other Montana station. KGVO has also won awards for Spot News Reporting, (same-day events) and News Enterprise, (a combination of related stories). In all, the station has won over a dozen MBA Awards over the last 10 years.
