A country music icon has traded the stage for the slopes and was spotted in Montana with his family.
Country Music Icon Shares Photos of "Wonderful" Montana Vacation
Montana and country music go together like cowboy boots and a steel guitar. After all, the cowboy lifestyle is still alive and well in Big Sky Country. Recently, a country music legend traded in his cowboy boots for ski boots and hit the slopes in Whitefish, Montana.
The legendary singer, known for hits like "T-R-O-U-B-L-E", "It's a Great Day to Be Alive", and "Here's a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)", was spotted carving up the slopes with his family, proving that his Southern roots don’t stop him from enjoying a little winter adventure.

In a Facebook post, Travis Tritt shared pictures of his Montana adventure, and it looks like he's having a great time. Here's what he had to say about it.
My family and I had a wonderful time on our first trip to Whitefish, Montana! Such a beautiful place and we will definitely be going back.
Could this mean a possible concert in the future? Whitefish is home to the Under the Big Sky Music Festival, which is held at Big Mountain Ranch each summer.
Travis Tritt has been touring for decades, and his career has spanned over 30 years. We're happy to see him enjoy a little rest and relaxation with his family. Tritt isn't the first legendary country star to visit Montana. The state has long been a retreat for artists looking to escape the limelight and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
It appears that Tritt was channeling his inner Merle Haggard.
