
Park Rangers Recover Dead Body in Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park officials are investigating the death of a man from Colorado, after his body was discovered in Yellowstone Lake near Bridge Bay on the morning of June 8.
According to a release from Yellowstone National Park, boaters spotted a body floating in the water near Rock Point on the northwest shore of Yellowstone Lake near Bridge Bay. The man was identified as 41-year-old Brandon Rhea of Denver, Colorado.
National Park Service rangers responded to the scene and recovered the body, along with a capsized kayak and personal belongings nearby. Park officials said the incident remains under investigation, and no additional details will be released at this time. The cause of death has not been announced.

Yellowstone Lake is the largest high-elevation lake in North America and is a popular destination for boating, fishing, and kayaking during the summer. However, weather conditions on the lake can change quickly, and the water is extremely cold, posing a serious risk to visitors.
