If you've been looking to update your Griz wardrobe, here's a chance to do it and support ASUM at the same time!

UM News Service tells us that the Associated Students of the University of Montana have created limited edition Griz gear for fans to celebrate the 122nd Brawl of the Wild Montana Grizzly-Montana State Bobcat football game, coming up in Missoula November 18.

The maroon T-shirts and sweatshirts feature the phrase, “Good ol’ Grizzlies” on the front and “Down with the Foe” on the back, which are lines from the UM fight song. There's even maroon knit caps that also have the phrase, “Good ol’ Grizzlies.”

BUT NOT FOR LONG!

The new Griz logo wear is available online here only through October 15. But if you miss the deadline, items will be available in the UM Bookstore in November. But remember, supplies are limited.

T-shirts are selling for $20, knit beanies for $25, and sweatshirts for $40.

BY STUDENTS, FOR STUDENTS

UM students voted for this year's design during the first week of fall classes.  As part of a new annual tradition, students will choose the design of a line of merchandise that will launch in connection with the Brawl of the Wild football game. Anyone can purchase the items, but the theme is “by students, for students.”

Proceeds from each sale will go directly toward UM’s student groups. When an item is purchased, you the buyer can select a specific student group to support.

The Brawl of the Wild is one of the most important Montana sports traditions. And this is a great opportunity for Griz fans to not only purchase new shirts, hats and hoodies, but directly support UM students.

Here's to a great new Griz Nation tradition!
