Missoula Softball Players: You Can Get on a Team at Pickup Day
If you love to play softball, but you are without a team, Saturday is the day to get picked up, regardless of your ability.
Yep, you will be a softball orphan no longer. Our friends with the Missoula Softball Association will be hosting a player pick-up day Saturday, April 6th at McCormick Park from 10:00am-12:00pm.
NEVER PICKED UP A BAT TO PLAYED IN THE "SHOW"
This is an opportunity for anyone in Missoula, at any skill level, who is interested in playing adult softball this summer. Come to come McCormick Park to take some batting and fielding practice, and, if time allows, some 5 vs. 5 vs. 5 scrimmages.
Team captains will be there to fill out their rosters, and Softball Association board members will be able to help you find the team and league that are right for you. Bringing your own personal equipment is encouraged but not necessary, as there will be loaner bats and gloves available. The event is free to the public, and participants are encouraged to arrive on time to ensure they get a chance to be seen in action.
MSA HAS LOTS TO OFFER
The Missoula Softball Association offers men's, women's, co-rec, and 'just for funzies' leagues. The focus is on playing ball, building community, and having a good time. Whether you are new to Missoula, trying to branch out to make new friends and build connections, or just looking for an activity to get you out of the house, Missoula Softball Association has you covered, and this is a great way to get started. If you would like to get lots more information, check out the Missoula Softball Association website.
