Dedicated Missoula runners never stop.

They soldier on through the stormy months of fall and winter, dodging snowbanks and frostbite as they keep on their workout schedule.

But for those runners, and the more seasonal types, this is the weekend everyone looks forward to, when green runners and grins take to the Missoula streets.

Missoula Marathon getting closer

"Run for the Luck" is one of the solid signals that the Missoula Marathon isn't that far off, with full-marathon, half-marathon, and 5K runners starting to amp up their training for the June event.

Drobeck told me on "Daybreak with Dennis", that there will be some minor course changes this year, and a later starting time for some of the runners.

Don't forget that registration fees for the Marathon have started their annual increases. Full marathon registration is $122 through March 31st and then increases another $10 on April 1st.

Registration Opening for City to Sky Race

Registration is also opening next week for the epic 2025 City to Sky Trail Races will once again take runners through Missoula’s breathtaking open spaces, conservation lands, and recreation areas, with registration officially opening on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 8 PM.

The event features two challenging and scenic courses using Missoula's extensive trail system around the city. The 50K Race is limited to 175 runners, with 125 allow for the 25K course.
