During the couple of years we've doing this promotion, we've had had plenty of great looking dogs drop by, and I think this is one of the prettiest!

It was another Take Me Home Tuesday here at the radio stations with the Humane Society of Western Montana, sponsored by our animal-loving friends at Paul's Pancake Parlor. Janet introduced us to Harrison, a handsome golden 6-month-old, possibly a lab/retriever mix, whose manners were also golden.

Janet told us that Harrison had actually been adopted once, but the new owner also had an elderly Welsh Corgi, and the new living arrangement was quite stressful for the little guy, since Harrison is already approaching 60 pounds. Now, Harrison gets along great with other dogs, but this just wasn't the right fit, so he was returned to the shelter.

Harrison is smart, obedient, quiet, attentive and very treat-motivated (and really, aren't we all?). He has been neutered and given a clean bill of health, and we suspect it won't take long for him to find that perfect forever home. Visit the shelter soon if you'd like to meet Harrison.

HUGE ANNUAL FUNDRAISER ON THE HORIZON

The Humane Society of Western Montana will be holding their annual fundraiser on Saturday, April 13, at the Wilma Theater in Missoula. It's a night of food, beverages, music, auctions and lots of fun. Proceeds benefit the shelter's veterinarian team, along with spay and neuter and vaccination clinics.

Ticket purchases, ticket pricing and other information for the fundraiser are available here.

Our thanks to Janet and Harrison for stopping by.
