Boom! Cannon is a Southern Boy Looking for a Montana Home
Join us in our quest to find another forever home for a local pet in need. Take Me Home Tuesdays sees us team with Flanagan Motors, Paul's Pancake Parlor, and Trailwest Bank to feature a pet from the Humane Society of Western Montana that is currently up for adoption.
Cannon is a southern boy that needs a Montana home!
One cool thing about the Humane Society is that animals come to them from a variety of places, not just locally. Cannon was actually part of a program that brought dogs all the way from Louisiana to Missoula for adoption. He definitely has some southern charm and I'm not sure if it's possible to be any friendlier than he is.
Cannon is easygoing, great with people, seems to have no issues with kids, and would enjoy a situation that sees him have some doggie companionship. Cannon, like all animals from the Humane Society of Western Montana, comes with age-appropriate vaccinations and is microchipped. The price to adopt an adult dog through the Humane Society is $100.
Want to visit Cannon or any other animal in person?
The Humane Society invites you to stop in and find the next furry member of your family. They're open on Wednesdays and every Friday through Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM. You'll find the Humane Society at 5930 US Highway 93 South in Missoula. You can meet more of the wonderful animals and learn more about the adoption process by visiting their website.
What steps are needed to adopt from the Humane Society?
You can visit the Humane Society of Western Montana website to see what animals are available for adoption. It's a pretty easy process. Just fill out an adoption profile, speak with an adoption specialist, and you can leave the shelter with your newest family member on the same day!
