Why Mint Treats Signal Spring in Montana

Select McDonald’s restaurants add Shamrock Shakes to their menus every February and March in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. The first Shamrock Shakes were just vanilla shakes with green food coloring added and rolled out in select stores across the country in 1970. It wasn’t until later that they added mint flavoring to the shakes.

Costco Introduces New Chocolate Mint Sundae

This year, McDonald’s has some competition when it comes to “minty” ice cream treats. Montana shoppers at Costco are excited about the new Double Chocolate Mint Sundae that’s only available for a limited time. The sundaes are big, tasty, and they only cost $2.99. 

Dairy Queen Expands Limited-Time Mint Menu

Montana Dairy Queens have also added a mint selection to their menus for a limited time. The Mint Crunchin’ Cookie Hacks come in the form of their famous Blizzards, Parfaits, and dipped cones. DQ’s new seasonal treats have a combination of mint and “choco cookie crumbles.” These treats are going to only be available at DQ for a limited time.

Now Montana Dairy Queen and Costco can be added to the list of spring treats that may only come around once a year. These treats will give Montanans even more to look forward to every spring.
