Missoula's community is based on neighborhoods and each neighborhood has its own uniqueness. The differences in each neighborhood are what make our city unique to Montana. Learning about each neighborhood has been interesting for me. It could be something as simple as the name of a neighborhood. There are official names of neighborhoods that unless you live in that neighborhood, you may think it is called something else. A neighborhood that I always thought was called the "Fort Missoula" or "Target Range" neighborhood, is actually called "Two Rivers".

In this series, we'll take a look at information from the City of Missoula's Neighborhood Profiles for each of Missoula's Neighborhoods, with all data cited below coming from the Neighborhood Profile. In this article, we'll look at the Two Rivers neighborhood.

Where is the Two Rivers Neighborhood?

The Two Rivers neighborhood is bordered by Reserve Street on the east, the Clark Fork River to the north, Clements Road to the west and the Bitterroot River to the south. There are two rivers that border the neighborhood, thus the name "Two Rivers".
