Montana Skiers Shine in Armada’s Epic New Ski Movie
For Montanans who have been looking forward to an epic ski season, this hasn’t been the year. Winter isn’t over yet, so there still could be a chance for some good skiing, hopefully.
There have been some big Montana events that have been cancelled this year due to the weather. The Race to the Sky sled dog race and the Skijoring races in Bozeman have been cancelled.
Armada Releases ORNADA on YouTube
Montana skiers may have to start living vicariously through others to enjoy the ski season. Good thing the Winter Olympics have just gotten underway. For those who are dreaming of some epic powder and big jumps, Armada Skis has just dropped their latest movie titled ORNADA: The Armada Team Movie on YouTube. Two stars of the film are Montana’s own Quinn Wolferman and Tanner Hill.
I spoke with Wolferman last December about the movie. It took two years to complete, and the teams travelled around the world to film some of the most epic footage. There is powder, big jumps, stair handrails, and more.

Along with Wolferman, ORNADA stars skiers Sammy Carlson, Olivia Asselin, Dani Bacher, Kim Boberg, Torin Yater Wallace, Mike Hornbeck, Yoshia ‘Bull’ Urata, Kuura Koivisto, Keagan Supple, Todd Ligare, Rell Hardwood, Marin Hamill, Phil Casabon, Henrik Harlaut, and Tanner Hall.
A Film Packed With X-Games Legends
The Team Armada skiers featured in the film have combined to win over 50 X-Games medals in their careers. To see their hard work pay off in this film is truly amazing.

Even though Montana may not currently have the best skiing, you can watch the movie and dream about big powder in the mountains.
