Avert your eyes, Griz fans. Montana State's football team visited the White House Wednesday morning to commemorate their National Championship from last season.

Coach Vigen, the Dowlers, and the rest of the squad got to meet President Donald Trump, spend some time in the Oval Office and walk around on White House grounds.

A White House visit is a tradition for champions of the four major professional sports, NCAA men's basketball, and the FBS national champion. The FCS champs don't always visit the White House. North Dakota State has done so on a couple of occasions, but other recent champs like South Dakota State (2022-2023), Sam Houston (2020), or James Madison (2016) all didn't visit the White House.

Hey, kudos to the Cats for celebrating last year's title. I'm full of vinegar when it comes to the Griz-Cat rivalry, but it's a special, rare, article-worthy occasion when an FCS team visits the White House.
