Why You Should Register for the Missoula Marathon Right Now
If you're contemplating running the Missoula Marathon this summer, then you'd better sign up ASAP.
Starting on Monday, February 16, the price increases to $135 from $125.
The price continues to increase up until race weekend, too. It will stand at $135 until March 31, then go up to $145 on April 1 and to $150 on May 16.
Missoula Half Marathon prices increase, too. Here's the Half Marathon price schedule:
- Current - February 15: $115
- February 16 - March 31: $125
- April 1 - May 15: $135
- May 16 - Race Date: $140
I ran the last two Missoula Half Marathons. It took me until February both times to pull the trigger on signing up, and both times I kicked myself for not doing it earlier.
My advice? Just do it.
Nike didn't even pay me to name-drop them, but seriously, just sign up.

You will feel accomplished when you finish the half or full marathon. I know I did.
It's also been unseasonably warm in Montana this winter, so take advantage of the beautiful weather and run outside. Typically, I'm training for the half-marathon in 20 degrees and ice all over the road, but not this year.
If that's not a godsend, I don't know what is.
