Bozeman, the county seat, once used to be thought of as a sleepy cattle town; today, it's nicknamed "BozeAngeles."

Today, the town is unrecognizable to a large percentage of Montana residents, and as such, it takes the brunt of scorn from those who yearn for a slower-paced state.

So while Gallatin County might be the best county to live in, plenty of residents would tell you that it's not what it used to be, and good luck being able to afford the cost of living.
