It was a wild weekend at Washington/Grizzly Stadium. The loyal Griz fans came out in full force to help take down the NDSU Bison. Saturday's game marked two back-to-back playoff games that went into overtime. Making the last few weekends in Missoula some of the most emotional that we in Missoula have been for some time now.

Let's face it, being side by side with other Griz fans cheering on our beloved team can really get a person pumped up. In fact, it can sometimes be overwhelming. Just the noise alone this last weekend was overwhelming for NDSU players.

According to 406mtsports.com, NDSU coach Matt Entz said

"The way they show up and get involved is pretty unique and it caused us some issues at times for sure," he said of a 31-29 setback in double-OT in front of an electric crowd of 26,544.

"How many third-and-shorts turned into third-and-longs because of a false start? That was frustrating."

Other people appeared to be getting frustrated and even a bit anxious during the final plays of overtime. A video surfaced online showing a nervous Griz fan pacing in the concourse outside the stadium seating area. Here is what she witnessed.

While some people were on the edge of their seats during the double overtime play, others were right on the field making the plays happen. For example, the game-winning interception by Montana's own Corbin Walker. Many different angles of the game-winning catch were captured. But, Walker's celebratory high five after the play was perfectly timed to synch up with the celebratory blast of the UM ROTC cannon.

BOOM!

We cannot wait to see the reactions fans will have when the Griz take on South Dakota State in Frisco, Texas on January 7th.
