It has been a rumor swirling around the state for a while now. Shinedown is looking to play in Big Sky Country. Well, the day has come.

Shinedown formally confirmed today that they’re bringing their Dance Kid Dance Act II World Tour to Billings this summer, and you can expect a full-blown arena show. They’ll be performing at the First Interstate Arena at MetraPark on Aug. 12th. Which is perfect for a classic summer concert road trip.

And this isn’t just Shinedown rolling into town with a few amps and a dream. They’re taking Coheed and Cambria and From Ashes to New with them.

This Is The Show Montana Doesn’t Always Get

Billings has been gradually improving its ability to book actual rock tours, but this feels like a legit “summer highlight” kind of night.

  1. Arena production.
  2. Big crowd.
  3. Big sound.

The show you leave with your ears ringing, and your voice shot for 2 days. And that’s the way it should be, really.

Yup, There’s New Music on the Way Too

Shinedown is also set to perform with a new studio album called EI8HT, which is due to be released on May 29th, 2026.

So when they roll into Billings in August, we’re likely in for a mash-up of the classics and the newer stuff, can’t think of a cooler setlist. Translation: this isn’t an exercise in nostalgia. Here’s Shinedown arriving with a new batch of ammo.

Ticket Info:

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 20, at 10 am MST.

So if you’ve been needing an excuse to schedule a road trip, get a hotel room, or just begin breaking in your liver for another long Billings weekend, here it is. You now have one.
