When America celebrates a birthday, we tend to go BIG: fireworks filling the sky, backyard barbecue grills, and always at least one person bragging that they can throw a football 100 yards.

This year, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, Pabst Blue Ribbon launched an exclusive limited-edition giant beer pack with a total volume of...A whopping 250 fluid ounces of delicious barley pop. We are talking TEN 25-ounce cans of PBR. Because just selling a case of 12-ounce cans was not American enough.

If you've followed PBR over the years, this shouldn't come as much of a surprise. The company has built a reputation for rolling out oversized beer packages that are equal parts marketing stunt and conversation starter. But this one is all about celebrating the BIG 250th.

PBR is one of the most recognizable beer brands across the United States. Whether people love it, dislike it, or automatically link it to working-class neighborhood bars, no one can deny its prominent status in American beer culture.

PBR has a large base of long-term loyal fans in Montana, and the bond between the city of Missoula and PBR is nothing short of legendary. Orange Street Food Farm in Missoula consistently sells a staggering volume of PBR year-round, helping Missoula secure its reputation as one of the most PBR-supporting cities in the entire country.

This limited-edition pack will roll out to shelves gradually before the 250th anniversary celebrations, and is suited for Independence Day parties, camping trips, river rafting, or just looking for a conversation piece for the cooler, this is one beer package that's hard to miss.

Be on the lookout. Something tells me these won't stay on store shelves for very long.
