When I peeked out my window to see the Red Supermoon above Montana last Sunday night I was hoping to see much more than what we experienced. Frankly, the buildup did not live up to the hype, at least in my opinion. I'm pretty sure I am not alone in my sentiments.

But now that I see this video that was just published a few hours ago, I have a whole new appreciation for this rare occurrence. It's a time lapse of last evening that fast forwards the moon cycle to showcase the beauty of the Supermoon above Montana, and to top it off the sounds of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" accompany it.

Seeing the "once every three decades" event from a first person point of view, meh. Seeing this sped-up footage of the Supermoon with an amazing soundtrack, now we are talking!
