ID man Suspected In Walmart Theft Arrested In FL

Police in Twin Falls say an assistant Walmart manager suspected of taking more than $100,000 from the store safe is in custody in Florida.

Police say 29-year-old Patrick Dee Howard was arrested in Orange County in Florida early Monday.

The money was reported stolen Sunday. Police tracked Howard to Florida after he allegedly purchased an airplane ticket in Salt Lake City.

Howard faces a charge of grand theft.

Officials have not said if any of the money was recovered.
