JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — State game managers have trapped and relocated a grizzly bear near Cody in northwest Wyoming.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says the adult male grizzly was preemptively moved after being captured during attempts to mitigate livestock depredation on the South Fork of the Shoshone River drainage.

The bear was relocated to a remote area of the Bridger-Teton National Forest, about 20 miles east of Moran Junction.
