Oh, goodie. More road construction in a very congested area. Here's wishing you no car overheating.

Starting this Monday, July 17 and including weekends, they will be finishing the asphalt Micro-surfacing project from Reserve Street in Missoula to the intersection of Highway 93 and Highway 12 in Lolo. This operation is expected to take several weeks. You can expect lane closures/merges into one lane at times with this tentative schedule:

Highway 93 southbound from 5:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m.

Highway 93 northbound from 8:30 a.m. till 8:00 p.m.

Micro-surfacing at night will also be an option if temperatures permit (they will). The press release includes the following advisories: "Expect lengthy traffic delays and slow moving traffic in these areas. Please use the alternate routes in these areas." Which, most of us know between Lolo and Missoula would require either an oarsman or a Sherpa guide, but they have to say that, of course.

Please obey all the signs and flaggers. They're just doing their jobs, folks. Try to keep it cool under the collar, okay?
