Democrat Spokesperson Glad ‘Sore Loser’ is Running for President
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - Robyn Driscoll, Chair of the Montana Democratic Party, told KGVO News on Wednesday that she was actually glad that former President Donald Trump has officially announced a third bid for the presidency.
Spokesperson Describes Trump as 'Sore Loser' and 'Election Denier'
“I guess I just feel like if the Republicans think that a twice impeached sore loser election denier is the best option they can provide to voters, then that’s certainly their decision, but I anticipate the Republican primary just being a circus with him involved,” said Driscoll. “It will include of course the same old playbook of nasty name-calling, vitriol, and disarray, and so we will as Democrats just kind of keep our heads down and get the work done for the people and watch this circus play out.”
Driscoll referenced the Capitol riot of January 6 and how leaders of both parties accused Trump of encouraging the violence.
Driscoll Claims Trump Encouraged Violence on January 6 Riot
“How many times have we watched right after January 6, the leadership in both chambers of our federal government stated loudly and clearly for the entire nation to hear that he (Trump) had egged this whole thing on?” she asked. “Quite frankly, I'm almost glad that he (Trump) announced last night because I think that's going to tip Warnock over the edge is to win that election in Georgia in December.”
Appearing on Monday’s Talk Back show, before Trump’s announcement, Republican Party Chairman Don K (Kaltschmidt) emphasized the importance of GOP victories in Montana, including sending Matt Rosendale and Ryan Zinke to Congress.
“We are definitely keeping Montana, Montana as we had hoped,” said Kaltschmidt. “Republicans won last Tuesday night, and we will continue to win. Our strong candidates and outstanding GOP volunteers drove voters to elect Republicans to Congress and the state legislature and in local races. Without the support of all of you out there to encourage your friends and family members to vote, we would not be sending Ryan Zinke and Matt Rosendale back to Washington, DC.”
GOP Spokesman said 'Voters will Decide who Runs for President in the Primary'
Kaltschmidt said Montana voters hold the current Democratic administration responsible for the current state of affairs in the U.S.
“The Democrat Party has unfortunately left hard-working Montanans behind and now that we're sending Zinke and Rosendale back to DC, we can be assured they will hold Joe Biden in the administration accountable and work to undo some of the damages of these disastrous policies, and that the Biden administration remains unrepentant.”
Asked for a direct statement about Trump’s announcement to run for President again, Don Kaltschmidt released this statement: “Montana voters will cast their ballots in the primary election to decide who they want as their Republican candidate for president. Regardless of the candidate, Montanans will retire Joe Biden.”
