A team of students and instructors from the University of Montana College of Technology built a solar-powered vehicle that competed last month in the Shell Eco-Marathon through the streets of Houston, Texas.

Bradley Layton, director of the COT Energy Technology program will be taking his team starting Thursday to compete with a human-powered vehicle near Salt Lake City, Utah. My interview with Layton is below.
