22 year-old Jacob-Allen Thielbar, convicted in the drunk driving death of Rachel Millhouse in July at the intersection of Brooks and Dore Lane, received a 20 year suspended sentence from Judge John Larson on Tuesday morning in Missoula District Court. I spoke with Deputy Missoula County Attorney Patty Bower about the sentencing. That interview is attached.

Bower says there were mitigating circumstances that led to the suspended sentence, however, Judge Larson told Thielbar at sentencing there would be a no-tolerance policy applied to the case, and even a minor violation could send Thielbar to prison.
