Dr. Patrick Davis was born in Butte, Montana. After completing undergraduate studies and a Master of Science Degree in Experimental Psychology at the Montana State University in Bozeman he attended the California School of Professional Psychology in Berkeley, California where he earned his doctoral degree in Professional Psychology. After graduate school he returned to Montana and worked for a few years for the Center for Mental Health in Great Falls before spending the next 15 years or so in private practice with a focus on chronic pain and forensic psychology. In 2007 he moved to Missoula and took his present position as a the Director of the Chronic Pain Neurobehavioral Rehabilitation Program at the Providence Medical Group Montana Spine and Pain Center where he has been responsible for developing a chronic pain treatment program called Pain School. He is a past President of the Montana Psychological Association and the author of How to Relax: Enhancing your Mental and Physical Health through the Art of Inner Self-Regulation. In his free time, Dr. Davis is an avid member of the local running and bluegrass music communities.
