Carroll Men’s Hoops Signs 6-7 Post

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — Carroll College men's basketball coach Brandon Veltri has announced the signing of 6-foot-7 post Jake Hollifield of Jerome, Idaho.

Hollifield averaged 14.6 points and nine rebounds per game for Jerome High School and was named Idaho's 4A/3A player of the year. He also participated in football and track and field and maintains a 4.0 GPA.

Veltri says Hollifield has the size and athleticism to compete with the best players in the Frontier Conference.

He says Hollifield is a relentless rebounder who has the potential to make his presence felt immediately at Carroll.
