Can You Provide Some TLC and a New Home For This Cutie?
Stop whatever it is you're doing right now and take a minute to meet Rita! She was our in-studio visitor today for our Take Me Home Tuesdays segment and she couldn't have been any sweeter. We're teaming up with the Humane Society of Western Montana to help animals like Rita get placed in their forever home. If you're looking to adopt a pet, keep reading to learn more about the adoption process for Rita or any other animal with the Humane Society.
Rita is between 1 1/2 to 2 years old, well behaved, great with kids, and seems to be tolerant of other cats in a household. One thing about her is that she'll need to go to a home that can offer a little extra attention as Rita has megaesophagus, or ME. The condition makes it hard for her to keep food down unless she eats while sitting in a special chair. She needs to be upright when she eats so that gravity can assist with her digestion. Check out Rita in what is known as a Bailey chair below.
If you can't get enough of that cute face and you have a little patience to spare when it comes to mealtimes, perhaps you can provide Rita with a new home to call her own. And as a bonus this week, dog adoptions are free as a result of dogs winning the yearly Dogs vs Cats donation fundraiser.
How do I adopt a pet from the Human Society of Western Montana?
The adoption process is easy! Fill out an adoption profile, speak with an adoption specialist, and you can leave the shelter on the same day with your newest furry family member! Get more information and see animals available for adoption at the Humane Society of Western Montana website.
Take Me Home Tuesday on KYSS is sponsored by Flanagan Motors Mazda, Paul's Pancake Parlor, and TrailWest Bank.
