Boy Found At Bottom Of Great Falls Pool

Police in Great Falls say a 12-year-old boy was hospitalized in intensive care after a near drowning at the Electric City Water Park.

Sgt. Brian Black says the boy was found lying on the bottom of the main pool just before 8 p.m. Saturday. The boy was pulled from the pool and CPR was performed.

Black says that the boy remained in the intensive care unit Sunday evening, but was alert and responding to commands.

Pool supervisor Marian Permann says all lifeguards are certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation and first aid.
