Authorities searching for Missing Off-Road Vehicle Stolen From Clinton Home

Authorities are searching for a missing side-by-side vehicle or Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) that was taken from a home in Clinton. Missoula County Sheriff's Department Spokeswoman Paige Pavalone explains.

"A gentleman from Clinton who lives on Highway 10 East reported that, sometime between Wednesday of last week (July 24) and Friday of last week (July 26), someone had entered a storage shed on his property and stole his UTV."

The vehicle is forest green in color with some extra amenities.

"It's basically a four wheel drive, off-terrain vehicle that looks like a suped-up golf cart that would be in the woods," Pavalone said. "The owner put a couple aftermarket upgrades on it including a tan top, a back windshield, and reflectors across the back that he said would look similar to highway markers."

The estimated value of the vehicle in new condition is around two thousand dollars. Anyone with information about this case is advised to call Crime Stoppers at 721 – 4444.
