Arizona Shootings—The Blame Game Begins

The thoughts and prayers of an entire nation go out to Congresswoman Giffords and her family, as well as the others who were killed by a suspect now in custody, 22 year-old Gerald Loughner. Already, various websites have begun pointing a finger at both conservatives and liberals as to who is to blame for the shootings. Excuse me, but..isn't it obvious? Only one person decided to go to that Safeway store with a gun to kill as many people as possible. Only one person pulled the trigger, and only one person, according to federal law, may pay with his own life...22 year-old Gerald Loughner. Please...let's not do the 'Can't-let-a-good-crisis-go-to-waste' gambit and blame a whole society for the evil found in just one man.
