Missoula is still recovering from a storm that whipped through the city, Monday August 10. Many are wondering will this happen again?

"In general it's a fairly active pattern so kind of a continuation of what we saw last night, although I don't expect necessarily those type of storms every night," National Service Meteorologist Marty Whitmore said. "We basically have a southwest flow that is bringing in warm pretty unstable air mass with some moisture in it and those are good ingredients for thunder storms during the hot part of the day. We have got them forming already above the area for this evening."

Whitmore says these next few nights won't be as harsh as Monday night, but they can still pose a threat. Winds are estimated to be around 40 to 50 mph tonight.
