Too Many Geese in the Outfield
Each morning, it's a contest to find where the wintering Canada geese have landed for daily grazing in the Bitterroot Valley. I've seen them in local fields, often, but occasionally they pick an unusual landing zone - like the Ravalli County Fairgrounds or as pictured, the baseball fields south of Hamilton High School on Kurtz Lane. No games are scheduled this time of year, so no problem with someone else needing to run the bases or chase a foul ball. There was quite a bit of crowd noise, though.
