Superintendent of Public Instruction Denise Juneau today announced that Graduation Matters Montana was offering a series of grants.

"I'm just pleased to announce that schools and communities across the state are now eligible for up to $10,000 grants for Graduation Matters, to bring their communities together, their small businesses, their non-profit organizations to really make a difference for students and make sure they are successful for the next phase of their life," Juneau said.

More than $190,000 in competitive grants are available thanks to the help of a Montana family foundation and a local business.

"We've had this ongoing partnership with the  that allow us to seed-fund these efforts across the state," Juneau said. "So, I look forward to seeing who puts in for these grants and, really, moving the Graduation Matters Montana ball forward."

Applications for the 2016 Challenge Fund must be submitted by March 4. For more information, and to submit an application, head to the Graduation Matters Montana website.
